The Role
We are currently searching for a remote board-certified medical dosimetrist to join our team. This role will have minimal travel to Bismarck, ND. The ideal candidate is proficient with Monaco treatment planning system, as well as the Mosaiq record and verify system.

The Role
We are currently searching for a remote board-certified medical dosimetrist to join our team. This role will have minimal travel to Bismarck, ND. The ideal candidate is proficient with Monaco treatment planning system, as well as the Mosaiq record and verify system.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with the radiation oncology team to develop robust treatment plans in Monaco.
- Advise radiation team members how beam modifying or immobilization devices should be used in radiation treatment plans.
- Calculate or verify calculations of prescribed radiation doses.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Conduct radiation oncology related research, such as improving computer treatment planning systems or developing new treatment devices.
- Design the arrangement of radiation fields to reduce exposure to critical patient structures, such as organs, using computers, manuals, and guides.
- Perform additional duties, as needed.
- CMD Certification by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board.
- Minimum bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences / Medical Dosimetry, or related field.
- At least 2 years of clinical planning experience with Monaco
- Experience with External Beam Planning, including conventional planning, IMRT, IGRT,VMAT, SBRT, and SRS.
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of radiation oncology.
- Ability to accurately delineate organs at risk and develop optimal treatment plans in accordance with the physician’s prescription and constraint form.
- Demonstrates interpersonal skills with all levels of the healthcare team.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Works well independently and in team environments.
- Ability to stay focused and organized in a high-volume facility.
- Superior level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Maintains a positive and safe working environment for the customers serviced.
